CERAMICS MADE BY HAND + A COASTAL LIFE.

Lisa first became acquainted with the art of pottery 25 years ago and more recently found ceramic expression to be the perfect voice to interpret the organic richness found in our local coastal surrounds.

Lisa’s work echoes the simple but striking forms found along coastal rock platforms where there is evidence of tessellation and honeycomb rock erosion revealing misshapen triangular and oval patterning.

These shapes translate beautifully into practical ceramic ware. plates, bowls and dishes are both functional and sculptural. Every piece is a hand made one off and production is personal and small scale in my Killcare studio.
